This week my computer died. I’ll be spending the next several weeks recovering all my data, but in the meantime, I have had to use many different computers to get my work done. It’s problematic keeping all my documents in one place. Sure, I could just email myself the documents I work on, but then I have to make sure I’m not using a different version next time I work on that project. Fortunately for me, I recently discovered a hand solution to this problem: PortableApps. This suite of software is installed on a USB drive that you can take with you wherever you go and will work on any Windows computer.
